Marship Engineering, a Rotterdam (NL) based maritime equipment supplier, and Envirocleanse LLC, a Houston (TX) – based manufacturer of the InTank™ Ballast Water Treatment System have finalized a cooperation agreement. The aim of the agreement is to mutually develop the business for the InTank system for the main European ship-owning countries. Both parties have long and successful track record in their respective fields of expertise. The combined know-how, vast shipboard experience and water treatment expertise will benefit the adoption and proliferation of the InTank system on all types of ships. Unlike many other systems: InTank treats the ballast water on voyage.

On voyage a ship has sufficient resources available such as: crew, time and power. This in contrast to many other systems that require filtration and treatment in Port during the cargo-operations.”
